The celebration of women in government begins at 11 a.m. Cost is $50 per person.<br /><br />We will have several elected representatives from across North Santa Barbara County, including Janelle Osborne, Mayor of Lompoc, Maribel Aguilera-Hernandez, candidate and projected winner of Santa Maria City Council District 4, and Christina Hernandez, candidate and projected winner of Guadalupe City Council, plus others as more election results are announced.<br /><br />There will also be a mini Mid-Term Election Analysis, with a discussion of governance challenges and opportunities by your local League and Chris Carson, former National President of the League of Women Voters.<br /><br />Be sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible, and no later than Monday, November 28.
