General Fund

The League of Women Voters of Santa Barbara is all volunteer. Every dollar you give to the General Fund is applied directly toward empowering voters and defending democracy. The General Fund provides vital support to our dedicated volunteers for community and candidate forums, translators, outreach to the Latinx community, educational materials, voter registration drives, a place to convene, organize, and collaborate, and other essential activities.

With one sentence you can make a world of difference in the lives of future voters. To leave a gift in your will to the Santa Barbara League of Women Voters, simply share this sentence with your attorney or financial planner: 

“I hereby give and bequeath to the Santa Barbara League of Women Voters in the sum of $_____ to be used for general purposes in its mission to protect and empower voters.”
