In addition, the candidates who are running for the seat in District 3, Ethan Woodill and Jennifer Smith, as well as the candidates running for the seat in District 4, Stuart Kasdin and Eric Gordon, are paricipating in this forum. We had to cancel this Foroum because the two canididates runing for a seat on the Carpinteria City Council‘s Distgrict 2 were not available on this date and it could not be rescheduled.. Please note that the other two candidates running for City Council, Julie Mayer and Wade Namura, were not invited to participate in the Forum because they are both running unopposed.

For over 30 years, Santa Barbara’s Senior Expo has been a premier health fair and services exposition for older adults and caregivers. The 2024 Expo offers an exciting array of health screenings and fun activities for seniors and those who care for them. The Senior Expo is the best ticket in town for Santa Barbara’s seniors and caregivers in our community. More than 1,000 seniors attended the 2023 Senior Expo which featured health screenings, exhibits, music, food, and activities for seniors and their caregivers. Flu shots were provided by Rite-Aid this year, including the senior dose for those 65+. Exhibitors included financial services, residential facilities, travel clubs, health care providers, home care services, government agencies, local nonprofits, Caregiver Café, and many more.
