I have read 3-4 chapters and it is a real page turner. It is about an English writer (who has traveled the world) - purchases a plantation house in the Delta after living in a shoebox apartment, in NYC, with his girlfriend. The small living space and high cost of living in NYC draws him to moving to the least expensive place to live in the USA. The Delta is 70% Black so Grant gives us a birds eye view of what race relations are like in the Mississippi Delta.
